Red Hot Nature

Happily ever after...well, not always! But when you have your best friend to share every day with, how can life not always be great? By focusing all our energy on each other, we're creating a marriage that will last through the eternities. We have created this blog to share our lives with our family, friends, and the future family we'll create together. "Marriage is a gift from God to us. The quality of our marriages is a gift from us to him." ~Elder L. Whitney Clayton

Lindon Collision Car Show

We spent our Friday night at Lori and Eric Read's car show at Lindon Collision. Live band, free food, and best of all...some really awesome cars. We liked this yellow Mustang a lot.

Habitat for Humanity Women's Build

Once again, my job and company are amazing. Ancestry gives every employee four hours every six months to do volunteer projects they sponsor. This was a special women's only build on a house Ancestry is a sponsor of for National Women's Build Week. Jana and I had to tear apart this little ladder and put it back together after the steps were cut shorter. Then we hung wood siding on the exterior of the house for most of the rest of the day. It's really neat to not only get to do service but that my job pays us for work time for the hours we go volunteer. Ancestry really supports the community and giving back. Service...and fun!

Draper Temple

We have been slacking on our temple trips. We've been to the Timp Temple a lot, and to a few sealings and endowment session for others, but with our busy callings, we are finding it hard to travel as far away as some of the temples are.  Hopefully things will slow down and we can visit more temples this year (if not all).

We visited the Draper Temple and did a session there. It was beautiful! We couldn't believe the size of the homes in the surrounding neighborhood. It's such an awesome location!
